as elizabeth and I drove up the long winding driveway to the manor house in littleton, colorado,I couldn't help but wonder what it would have felt like to do so one hundred years earlier...the original owner was a self-made millionaire - not a small feat considering the era...when he had the manor house built in 1915 he built it with 360 degree views in mind.and that was what make elizabeth and I audibly gasp out loud when we drove up...360 degree mountain views with a beautiful pristine white manor in the center of it all.throughout the incredible decorated halls and rooms I wondered of the soldiersand old presidents who stayed in the house a century earlier,I imagined the balls and fancily dressed women who filled the rooms a hundred years ago.all of that was in my mind when elizabeth and I went to begin photographing Ben + Kristine's memorable day.and my goodness, did they design a most beautiful + memorable day...I say design because days like Ben + Kristine's don't just happen...they are beautiful and carefully designed and their day only seemed to enhance the elegance and timelessness of the manor house.from Kristine's flawless, elegant and timeless jaw-dropping satin sheath dress,to the gold geometric details interwoven with just the right pop of color with the unique floral stems...I say unique floral stems, because they were and immediately made you gasp a little at how perfect they were...it was an intimate wedding with only the closest family and friendsand it was such a pleasure getting to photograph them with elizabeth. elizabeth Ann Photography | kreatid photographyvideographer | Kelsey Luciano Productionsvenue | The Manor Housewedding coordinator | Janae Reed Bellflorals | Orchid Princess Floralcake | The Makerybridal gown | Martina Liana from the Bridal Collectiongrooms attire | custom made suit by Bespokenmusic | trading post duo
