ˈeləɡəns/
noun
the quality of being graceful and stylish in appearance or manner; style.
to be honest, elegance seems to be a character trait that is dying away.it makes me sound old by saying so...but it's true...think about the women and girls that tend to make the covers of media magazines or star in "reality" tv shows...in describing those type of women, I'm pretty sure that elegance and grace aren't necessarily high in your description.women who I think embodied or embody this description?women like cate blanchett, grace kelly, ingrid bergman, natalie portman or kate middleton...when you think of these women and in trying to describe them...elegant is high on the list for me.even though the character trait of elegance is dying away in my opinion, every once in a while, I photograph a girl who reminds me of that elusive elegant trait...today's beautiful girl is a perfect example of that...effortless, classy fashion style...grace and kindness in the way she carries herself and in conversation with people who know her...and she is well spoken of by everyone for her sweetness + graciousness...elegant, if you will. :)jillian, it was a pleasure getting to spend time with you and your family this day!thank you for the afternoon and I can't wait to hear about the amazing things you accomplish the next few years in college! :)
