downtown denver colorado wedding | dan + courtney

I'm headed back in my mind to this most beautiful day in downtown denver getting to second for my sister Elizabeth.I think what stuck out to me the most about this couple was their genuine tenderness and love for each other.that sounds kinda weird considering that you'd hope most weddings are like that,but it's especially true for these two in my mind.when I think back, the raw tenderness in the way these two were overwhelmed with emotionat seeing each other for the first time was just so beautiful to watch and photograph.they both had tears and were just so loving and outwardly thankful for each other.I loved how dan just hugged courtney until the happy overwhelmed tears subsided andI found that my own eyes misted over as I watched as he whispered words of love to her -which honestly only made more tears flow but it was perfect and so intensely special to watch unfold.the rest of the intimate day unfolded in one of the coolest venues I've gotten to photograph in...an art gallery!it was perfect for these foodie loving, downtown-denver-living art aficionado's.the way these two wed and celebrated made me think of how I'd like my own daughter to be married one day...intimately surrounded by loved ones, nothing rushed or forced, great food and live music to dance into the night to.yep, getting to photograph this day with Elizabeth will be a day that I remember and smile at when I think of thespecialness and uniqueness of dan + courtney...congratulations again to you both!venue | Space Gallerywedding coordinator and florist | Cherry Bomb Eventshair and makeup | alchemy creative MakeupCake and Desserts | Happy Bakeshop...Food Truck Catering | Wheel and WhiskLive Band | Howl 2 Go
