meet sammie :)

so I've finally learned something and am finally putting that knowledge into wisdom.I can't do it all.shocker, I know. ;)for this fall/winter season I've decided I need an assistant for some of my sessions.someone who can help me juggle lenses, block the sun, help me remember to fill out all the proper model release forms and to basically be my go-to during sessions...and who is up to that task?this gorgeous girl. :)she's turning seventeen today.but not really...I always tease her that really she's turning forty because of the old-soul she possesses. :)I've known her for a few years but sometimes it feels like longer with how at ease I am around her.she's incredibly perceptive and humbly aware of people's social interaction around her.I think that combined with her unbelievable drive to be a faithful servant has made her a friend to me and someone who I feel blessed I get to have help from!that and she pursues a relationship with me in a non-aggressive kind-of way...just as in a hey!-I-like-you-and-I-think-I'd-like-to-be-around-you-more-and-share-pieces-of-my-life-with-you kind-of-a-way. ;)I'm EXCITED to have her help and even more excited to wish her a happy birthday TODAY!here's a few from her "test shoot" I took last week of her and another of my favorites...sophie.
