my son is fourteen.that seems excessively old compared to the two year old boy I have in my minds eye when I think of him.in photographing anthony, his mom and girlfriend came along as support and just because they wanted to be there...in watching his mom with him, I can most definitely tell she feels the same way about her son as I do about mine...so I'll say thisguys who are graduating, be nice to your moms. :)we feed you (and you eat a lot, especially if you play sports) ;)we clothe you and make sure you look and smell nice by laundering your clothes.we take you to every sport practice under the sun...and are happy to...and even if the sun isn't even up yet.we clean up after you so that you can concentrate on scraping by in that math class in between practices.we stay up praying about you and the many people you call friends...praying they are good friends that make you a better person.we stay up praying about the girl who is inevitably going to capture your heart...that you'll treat her like a lady should be treated.we're your biggest fans...for no other reason than because God entrusted you to us...you're our sons.we see you becoming your own man...but in our mind's eyes...you're still our babies...and we love you.this mom of this son?this mom is a good mom...how do I know that?because the time I spent with him was the reflection of how she loved and cared for him...you're pretty dang cool, anthony...thank you for spending the afternoon with me!
