the best way I can describe my impression of this guy is if you combinedwalter mitty, robert downey junior and shaggy into one person...yep, he's that cool. :)explain? mmkay...well for one the obvious, he is incredibly good at downhill speed skateboarding much like the scene from walter mitty.I was seriously amazed at his focused ability to race down camelback mountain around hairpin turnsand not only not fall off and eat asphalt for dinner(which is without a doubt is what I would do if forced to try this) ;)...but not only did he not dine on asphalt, but he skated down the mountain with such finesse and grace.it was one of the coolest talents I've seen firsthand in a long time.the RDJ correlation is mostly because I've been rewatching the marvel movies and he immediately he reminded me of tony stark.his serious quick wit, his ease in how he communicates, his funny/non-traditional humorand even the way he surprised me by noticing minute details as we walked through downtown phoenixreminded me of what I would imagine what RDJ would be like in real life...oh, and his general allergic reaction to rules and restrictions gave that correlation a little boost as well. ;)finally, the shaggy correlation is simply because his relaxed skateboard style is what I would imagine shaggy's would be like...effortless, relaxed and best suited for skateboarding/traveling as much as possible.yep, I really liked my time spent with this guy...time spent with people who choose to cross paths with me that I wouldn't normally outside of my camera fascinate meand I absolutely love the trust in my creativity and the trust that I'll see them as anything but typical...it's flattering and not something I will ever take lightly.thank you for the afternoon, max...I genuinely can't wait to see what you bring to the world these next few years!and one last one, because behind every talented dare-devil 6'4" son has an incredible mom to patch him up and encourage him. :)
