the older I get, the more I realize that the time that my family is under the same roof is in reality a short time.you're pretty much guaranteed eighteen birthday parties with your kids,eighteen christmas' where you wake up on christmas morning together and share breakfast around the table,eighteen you-name-it's...eighteen.after that...there really isn't a guarantee...life outside the home starts to take over a bit...it's not a bad thing...just a...thing, really. :)when I look at this family,their beautiful daughter, smart...beautiful...confident...definitely going places.you could feel it...this next season of life if shifting for them as she closes the door on high school and moves onto the next.I'm pretty sure they have many more years under the same roof...but it got me to thinking about enjoying the moments...enjoying the eighteen years I fully have being with my kids...I love getting to photograph this family...and I love that for the past few years they've trusted me photographing them...photographing their moments...their seasons...I can't wait to see what the next few years holds for them!love you, walters family! :)
