chicago engagement | joe + mary

let me set the scene for this one a bit...picture me driving at dawn weaving through country roads I haven't visited in over fifteen years.oddly enough, I remembered the curves of the roads.a strange, happy faint memory of a life I lived before.I could still smell the dew on the wet fallen leaves...the sun is beginning to rise in the east with shades of pink and lavender...out of the corner of my eye I see a fox run across the leaves on the ground.a possum scurries by...a raccoon lifts his head as I whoosh by...I snap a early morning photograph of a deer eating her breakfast on the side of the road.are you laughing yet?  I SO was...it was like I was in Bambi!oh, I was so happy to be in this moment!  :)and then I arrived to this man's farm...and was it ever a farm!giant alien-like windmills stood like guardian's over his land..and I had a song running through my head the majority of this beautiful session.you know the song "big, green tractor"?yeah, that song is SO these two love birds!she looked like every bit of hollywood hopping out of her truck with her 'pink' sweats onand platinum hair fluttering in the breeze...and joe?  joe is the lucky man with the big, green tractor.  literally.  :)the chorus goes:"...she had on a new dress and she curled her hair she was looking too good not to go somewhere said "what you want to do, baby, I don't care" we can go to the show, we can stay out here and I can take you for a ride on my big green tractor we can go slow or make it go faster down through the woods and out to the pasture 'long as I'm with you it really don't matter..."it was a beautiful morning... :)
