what do I want you as my client to walk away from a session with me? seems like it’d be a question to ask yourself from time to time if you call your occupation photography. 🙂 the most obvious would be that you walk away with beautiful quality portraits. but not to sound arrogant, but that’s way too easy of an answer. I’m a photographer. you should walk way with beautiful quality portraits. so what more do I want for you? I want you to leave feeling lighter and happier about life – even if it’s only for the hour you spend with me. I want you to laugh. and laugh hard. even at my expense, just…laugh. laughing is my favorite and should be done on a daily basis IMO. and I want you to leave encouraged. the world is hard enough on it’s own…we should look to encourage each other whenever the opportunity presents itself. and I think being vulnerable in front of my lens is brave…you, my clients, let me see sides of your personality, you let me ask what lights you up, you tell me stories about your life…all while I’m clicking the shutter on my camera positioning your body and the light to make you shine best. I leave my sessions encouraged by you and the time I get to spend with you and at the end of the day – I want you to walk away from a session with me feeling the same. savannah + lisa, I left your session feeling just that…lighter, happier, having laughed and feeling encouraged – thank you for being you! <3!
