three things about this day that I'd like to tell you about, but first...if you have ten seconds - can you click here and vote for elizabeth's image from this gorgeous wedding?!it's competing for a cover on the Rocky Mountain Bride magazine and it would mean a lot for your less than ten second click! :)(no emails or extras to mess with, just a click!)okay, onto the three things...one, kelsie is an AMAZING wedding planner.wedding planning can be tricky and somewhat overwhelming...which is fair, because most brides (if they don't have a coordinator) are planning their wedding for the first time! :)coordinating your taste with your soon to be husbands...trying to stay current and keep from "dating" your day,not getting overwhelmed with the myriads of details...but Kelsie?Kelsie, I would hire in a nano-second to plan and organize the details to a wedding...and it's not even her occupation! :)the navy and gold details she expertly wove throughout her wedding day should win her an award... ;)from the gold badgely mischka bridesmaids dresses, to her hubby's navy tux,to her understated and amazing blush toned Michael Christopher wedding dress with lace overlay and gold belt,to the table linens, to the honey and tea favor that was at every attendants seat, to the gold details in her cake...it all told a tale of elegance and grace...which was more than confirmed later during the toasts that her loved ones shared.two, colton + kelsie are THE cutest high school sweethearts.it's rare to find other couples who are high school sweethearts (like me + matt!)and their story is straight out of the movie sand lot...she was a lifeguard at the local pool and he played his cards right and scored his own real-life Wendy Peffercorn!the love they have for each other was sweet to get to witness and it still makes me smile :)and finally three, their wedding vows.it getting to photograph as many weddings as Elizabeth and I have, you hear a lot of different types of wedding vows.some are simple and straight to the point, others are more eloquent and have the audience sniffing at their emotion...Colton + Kelsie's vows leaned towards the latter half when they included this quote from Maya Angelou...I had never heard it before and for these two, it absolutely fit:"...in all the world, there is no heart for me like yours.in all the world, there is no love for you like mine."I so loved this day getting to photograph Colton + Kelsie with the ever-talented Elizabeth Ann Photography...SO many congratulations to you both!p.s. to view more from this wedding, head over to Elizabeth's page - it's so beautiful!!! :)Elizabeth Ann Photography | kreatid photographyvenue, wedding coordinator, florist, bakery | The Pinery at the Hillhair stylist | Splash Hairmakeup artist | Heather Bakerbridal gown | Matthew Christopher Bridalbridesmaids gowns | Badgley Mischkagroom and groomsmen attire | Vera Wang from Men’s Wearhouse
