my goal is to blog all of my sessions but sometimes life gets in the way and doesn't allow at the moment the session happens. :) but this girl + her session needs to be blogged about - if for nothing else but me. :)
this is aubrey.
I've known her since she was in elementary school and watched her grow up with my kids as part of the student ministries "brat pack". :) simple to say on paper but in living color that statement has a lot of depth attached to it. and in getting to see her grow up you inevitably see the good and the not-so-great parts of people growing up. which I think is hard transitioning from young-you to adultish-you. not for this girl. this girl is fire and is someone I greatly admire and love and think she's killing the adultish game so far. :) I think what I love most about this girl is her tenacity with her goals + dreams, her laugh and ability to light up a room with contagious energy and her softness in being challenged - even though her sass usually is greeted first before that softness - although TBH I might like that response even better - it makes her more "real" and someone I can get on board with. ;)
she is obviously beautiful but it's her quick wit, her faithfulness - even through trial, and her soft heart that has made her transition from someone I watched simply grow up to someone I'm so happy to call friend.
I love you, aubs and am so proud of the dreams you're chasing and the talents God has given to you! <3
