it's not a secret to any of you who regularly read my ramblings that I have had a secret desire for, well, ever...to be a dancer.(I totally just unattractively snickered to myself in declaring that...again.) ;)but I've resigned myself to the fact that it's just not in my DNA to ever chase that far-fetched dream...so I appease myself by binge watching shows like SYTYCD + DWTS...and every once in a while I get a client or clients that absolutely blow my mind with their dancing skills and I get to photograph them. :)*enter todays ridiculously beautiful couple - yes, you're beautiful too, Dion* ;)you NEED to follow their business on instagram - Tamali'i Polynesian Entertainment.yep.they're polynesian...and not just polynesian gorgeous people, samoan polynesian dancers to be exact...from the actual Island of Samoa.(if you're a disney-freak...I know!  this year is the first that they're introducing a new Polynesian Princess!)I think the thing that stuck out at me the most about this beautiful couple (other than their crazy awesome dancing abilities)is their love for their heritage...who they are, where they came from...in a country where not many can trace their roots back to one nationality - they fascinated me with their roots!these two know who they are and were suuuper patient with me in describing their culture that is so diverse and colorful!so yes, this session was a great session for me...largely in part to the beauty and love these two obviously have for each other...but also, because of their dancing + family heritage...it was just too cool to learn about them!I can't wait until July to get to photograph the two of them say I do with their families!
