fun kreatid photography fact:I picked up my first DSLR camera back in June 2007 for two reasons...one, because at the time buying stock images for graphic design started to become pointless and my good friend and amazing photographer friend, kacey, suggested I figure out how to make my own stock images by photographing them myself...light bulb ;)and two, because the photograph of my two little ones below was typically the only way to get professional photographs of your kids at the time and I wasn't satisfied.are they cute? yup...cutest ever in my opinion. :)but is it them in real life? nope, not even close.I wanted to remember the dirt under their teeny tiny fingernails and the rocks in their fists with the sun streaming over their heads as they played in the backyard.I wanted to see the real giggles and smiles of being tickled and chased by their daddy...I will forever be thankful to my friend's suggestion as she opened up a whole new world to me of how to photograph the people I love, and the way I saw them by simply suggesting to pick up a DSLR and figure it out.fast forward to now...this family is reason #8003 on why I LOVE getting to photograph my clients families in real life.real water to play in...real sunlight streaming in from behind casting a glow on them as they play...real laughter, real smiles...simply put, I love getting to provide memories and experiences for my clients at their family sessions with kreatid.the images I give my clients are the ones I would want on my own walls...the images I would want to look back on and remember and smile at...I love it. :)thank you, smith family, for trusting me with your memories of your sweet family that is growing up all too fast! :)
