I love that for me...storytelling is a huge part of what I am entrusted to do.some of my favorite's stories in the past to tell are of:vera with the single large alligator tear running down her face over-tired at the end of her session,or of jay, a colorado groom, with his overjoyed and content face as he watches his bride walk down the aisle to be his wife,or of the belly laughs between best friends at last week's fall session in watching them figure out how to group-long-board...I totally believe that we all have story's that are waiting to be told through a lens...and as part of my "job" I feel privileged in the after-session-editing.that's where the echo's of their stories they entrust to me come alive...that's where the magic of a still frame happens to become a story...their story. :)this little families story makes me smile.big. :)partly because it reminds me a bit of my own story...high school sweethearts get married, have kids, and figure out how to love each other in a real way along the journey...sounds simple, but in this day and age, this kind-of beautiful story is getting harder and harder to findl...I think that is why I am smiling as I post their story...it's beautiful,it's precious, and one that although rare, is unbelievably special to get to witness firsthand.congratulations willy + ashley + g...your family is beautiful and I cannot wait to meet the newest addition later this year!
