little known fact about me?I love music from the 1920's-1940's...well, okay also all the music that leads up to now, but that particular era makes me smile. :)it makes me wonder what it would be like to be a lady back then...red lips, sparkly clothes and sassy hair...gorgeous sassy hair. :)but have you SEEN some of the contraptions they used to do hair back then?!it's a wonder any of them had hair still left on their head! :)what a far way we've come from beautifying ourselves...especially if you head over to Savante Salon!Steph and her gorgeous crew of ladies asked me if I would come in to do some headshots for her new website...of COURSE!I think growing up with movies like Steel Magnolia's or even Beauty Shop now, has me SO fascinated with salon life...when I went to Steph's salon it absolutely amazed me to go in with "ho-hum" hair,and then watch her and her team take over (including my beautiful friend Debbie!)they wash and massage your scalp/hair/hands,style/clip/fashion your mane into something gorgeous,all the while chatting away with you about YOU...and then WALLAH!you come out feeling like a million bucks!I just love it! :)thank you for having me, Steph!and thank you for making ME feel like a million bucks!here's a few from the day of the gorgeous stylists and artists...
