I say alot that "this session makes me smile" and it's true every. single. time. I say it...but regarding this session it's especially true ;)why?well, for a few reasons...him and his sarcastic wit, the fact that we got to go up north and experience a bit of fall, because of their kids and how funny and grown-up they are now...but mostly?mostly because of her.she is someone that I've come to call a good friend these past five years.and randomly because of the fact that I stopped biting my nails. ;)I was a professional nail-biter from age two to about 32 1/2...and I'm talking PRO-fessional...like down to the nail beds and bleeding professional. ;)as a reward for finally not biting my nails I get to have my nails done beautifully by her every few weeks.what does nail biting matter to my relationship with Debbie?hmmmm, you know the movie Steel Magnolias and Beauty Shop?well, if you combined the life conversations, the sass, the laughing, the heart-felt talks...even tears sometimes, then you would have a piece of my relationship with Debbie these past five years.friendship happens in beauty shops...I dunno why, they just do. :)but what doI love about her, other than her being amazing at doing my nails and looking the other way when I have an occasional relapse? ;)well, for one, she is one of the most faithful and loyal people I know.she teaches me a lot about what it means to be a friend to someone...and a friend for years, not just seasons.she is a legitimate FAN of the people she calls friends and looks for ways to serve and love on a daily basis.she is a good wife, a good mom...she makes me laughand then laugh extra hard when you see her face laugh and the dimples on her face deepen and she can't breathe because she's laughing hard.I guess to put it simply, she is someone I value tremendously and admire for the friend she is to many...especially me. :)love you bower family.  and LOVE that I finally got to see you in front of my lens! :)
