it's not a secret that I have a few favorite television shows if you follow this blog at all...in my random thoughts, I think I've decided that the shows that I love the mostare the ones that seem to imitate pieces of real life...they tug at your heart stings just a smidge more than canned laughing ones,they, like a good book character, become your weekly escape from the drama of your own life.I have one particular show that I love to watch on TBS when I'm sick :)it's about a girl with three friends, essentially.the show is about how they figure out how to navigate through life...through love, through cancer, through moves, through the everyday...and all throughout the series, the main current of the show (IMO) is that these four women valued each otherand maintained a friendship, albeit not perfectly...but maintained it and cherished it and each other.I wrote about it once before here: (t-shirt + jeans).well, these girls?in spending the afternoon with them, they reminded me of those TV girls...each of them completely unique and yet complimentary to each other...there was the colorful one,the one who noticed the details quietly,the shy "good" one,the fun, crazy one,and the determined one...they all complimented one each others character traits (and clothing!) ;)yes, this session makes me happy...I had fun with these girls and smiled at getting to watch my own mini-tv series in real life.thank you, kaitlin...I'm so very glad you won...and so very thankful for the afternoon!
