if you've read my about page (which props to you, its a loooong one.) ;) you'd know that for the past two decadesI've gotten to meet on a weekly basis with girls like today's girl.I get to meet with girls like her and just talk about life and about how God says to live in the bible.the seriously cool thing about getting to do this is getting to see transformations like this beautiful girl.the transformation isn't in her personality...and I'm glad...she has always been full of life, quick to laugh, doesn't take life too seriously and just a fun happy person to be around.she's our "king julien" for a reason. ;)and this transformation is not in her beauty...she's always been beautiful.nope, the transformation is in her heart and how she views life.and it's been beautiful to get to watch.here's truth: change is hard.as in oh-my-gosh-I'm-just-wanna-go-back-to-status-quo hard.as in people will judge you and doubt you calling you a hypocrite/poser hard.as in oh, when these feelings end and doing life work has to kick in...I'm still going to change hard.jenny, I have admired more of who you are this past semester than in the fours years I've known you.you living your life, albeit stumbling every once in a while, and in picking yourself up and doing better the next timeis SO admirable in my eyes and I love that you've let me see pieces of you becoming more of what God wants for you!love you, girl! :)
