do you watch tv?I do...shamelessly. :)  it's an escape of sorts for me...kinda like reading a really good book, if the show is good...one of my favorite show's lately is parenthood.if I had to describe it on paper, it's simply a show about the up's + down's of one particular familycast with a mom, dad, two sisters and two brother's and all their offspring.simple on paper...but what draws you in is the family dynamic.I love it.it makes me laugh...hard,it makes me cry when their lives hit a little too close to home...it makes me gasp at the raw emotion that's portrayed...nutshell, it's a good show if you're fascinated with the family dynamic.the krueger's session was no exception to getting a front row seat to family dynamic's.I think that sessions like this one is why I have a re-kindled love of family sessions I get to photograph.I get to show up, catch glimpses of what makes a family tick,read slightly in between the lines (frames) and see real laughter in laugh lines,and wonder about the in-between moments that aren't on camera.side-note secret photographer confession:someday I'd like to be hired to do that...to spend a month with a family to photograph the "in-between" moments.but for now, I'm happy to get to meet the people I do and catch glimpses of their family dynamic...kinda like my own mini-tv show I'm hired to document...I love it. :)and as a bonus to my "mini-tv-show" session, this particular session had a little bonus at the end of it...I got to photograph two best friends who have literally known each other the entirety of their lives...pretty cute to see and photograph! :)meet, the krueger's. :)
